Jacquie lives in Perth Western Australia with her husband Martin and fur baby Gretzky.  An Australian Citizen since 1998, Jacquie is originally from Thunder Bay Ontario Canada, immigrating to Australia in 1996 to reunite with her parents and sister who had made the move years prior.

Jacquie has been creative her whole life from finger painting in Kindergarten, making sand candles at the beach at summer camp, working with clay and photography in high school, cross stitch, paper art, moving onto every medium she could use to express her creativity.  It wasn’t until a particularly stressful time at work that she picked up a brush and started paints as a form of therapy.  She paints with acrylics and inks on canvas, glass and wood. Her love of nature, travel and creative imagination inspire her colourful artwork.

Retiring after twenty plus years as a public servant, she has turned to art fulltime and started painting under the name JPBoden.  Her work has evolved from mixed media and cottage crafts to Acrylic painting on canvas.  Her work has been sold in Australia and overseas in Canada and the USA.  Contact Jacquie if you are interested in any of the pieces listed or to discuss a commission.
